Updated 22 October 2026. This page describes the Photo Toolbox website. The native app has its own App Store privacy disclosures and may use different services.

Photo processing

Selected photos are read into browser memory and processed locally. We do not send selected photo bytes, edits or generated outputs to a server. The processing engine, worker and ZIP library are served from this website. There are no remote processing APIs.

Metadata and colour

Exports are re-encoded from decoded pixels. Source EXIF, GPS, IPTC and XMP records and original ICC profiles are not copied. Orientation is baked into pixels; browser encoders may write basic technical records such as resolution. Canvas processing uses sRGB and can change wide-gamut or HDR appearance. Metadata removal does not hide information visible in the picture or its filename.

Session and downloads

Photo selections and result URLs remain in memory while the page is open. Reset releases them and stops the active worker. Continue editing passes one exported result to another tool in the same page session using browser memory. It does not use server uploads, IndexedDB or web storage. Closing or reloading the page ends the session; using browser Back reloads the earlier tool without restoring photos. Downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them. Browser caching can retain site assets, which contain no selected photos.

Website requests and contact

Hosting providers can record normal access logs such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser details and response status. These are page and asset requests, not image uploads. The website is hosted on the StackCP / 20i platform using the hosting account supplied by the owner. Log retention depends on the hosting service and its configured settings; contact us for the applicable retention information. Do not place private information in website URLs.

This version includes no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, account system, cookies or localStorage usage. External App Store and Companies House links leave this site and follow those services’ privacy policies. Emailing us sends the contents of your message to the relevant email providers; avoid sending private photos unless needed and agreed.
